The Helix Midnight Luxe was one of the most anticipated upgrades in my testing rotation. After completing the Helix Sleep Quiz (which takes about 2 minutes), I was matched to the Midnight Luxe — and the recommendation was spot-on for my combination sleeping style. The personalization aspect genuinely adds value rather than being a marketing gimmick.
The GlacioTex cooling cover is noticeably effective. Using an infrared thermometer, I measured surface temperatures 3-4°F cooler than standard memory foam mattresses tested in the same conditions. For my partner who runs hot, this was a significant upgrade over her previous all-foam mattress.
The zoned lumbar support is where this mattress really differentiates itself. I could feel distinct firmness zones — softer under my shoulders and firmer under my lower back.
