After going through 3 mattresses in 4 years, I finally found one that holds up. I'm 6'2" and 320 lbs. I tried the Titan Plus Luxe from Brooklyn Bedding and it's been incredible for 8 months now. Zero sag, great cooling, and the reinforced edges actually work. Previously tried Casper, Nectar, and a cheap Amazon hybrid - all developed body impressions within 6 months. Happy to answer questions for fellow big folks!

285 lbs here and the Titan Plus Luxe is on my shortlist. Can you speak to the cooling? I run very hot and my current mattress is like sleeping on a heating pad. Also how's the motion transfer? My wife is 140 lbs so we have a big weight difference.

340 lbs checking in. I went with the Big Fig mattress and it's been rock solid for 2 years. The foundation they include is specifically designed for heavier folks too. The Titan is great but also look at Big Fig - they're one of the few brands that actually engineer for our body type instead of just adding a firmer foam layer.

Thank you for posting this! I'm 290 and have been through the same mattress graveyard. Just ordered the Titan Plus Luxe based on your review. Fingers crossed!

Sleep Sage research on this topic

Community answers are the lived experience half of the picture. The other half is measured data. Everything below comes from our own lab work in Encinitas, where we record pressure-mapping results, surface-temperature change over an eight-hour night, motion transfer, and edge-support deflection on every mattress we buy. Use the discussion above for real-world ownership detail — how a bed felt after a year, how a brand handled a warranty claim, whether a sale price was actually a discount — and use the guides below to check those impressions against repeatable measurements before you spend money.

Sleep Sage buys the mattresses it tests and earns commission on some links, which never changes a score. Forum posts are member opinions and are not medical advice; talk to a clinician about persistent pain or a suspected sleep disorder.
