Two practical warnings: deep-pocket sheets (16 inch or more) are mandatory, and a 16-inch mattress on a tall platform bed can put the sleeping surface above 32 inches off the floor.

Airflow is the reason to choose this over its all-foam sibling. On durability, the coil unit is not the concern — the comfort layers are. Expect the plush top to settle noticeably in the first two months (that is break-in, not a defect) and then hold.
