    About DreamCloud

DreamCloud (also part of Resident Home) launched in 2017 to fill a specific gap: most DTC mattresses were budget-tier all-foam (Nectar, Casper Original) or premium luxury (Tempur-Pedic, Saatva). DreamCloud targeted the underserved middle — luxury-feeling hybrid construction at $1,000–$1,500 instead of $2,500–$4,000.

The flagship DreamCloud Premier (and entry DreamCloud Original) feature a cashmere-blend pillow top, gel memory foam comfort layer, and individually-wrapped pocketed coils. The build mimics a $3,000+ Stearns & Foster luxury hybrid at roughly half the price.

DreamCloud also offers one of the most aggressive trials and warranties in the industry: 365-night trial and Forever Warranty, both inherited from the Resident Home playbook.

    What they make

Luxury hybrid mattresses (Original, Premier, Premier Rest); pillows; sheets; bed frames.

    Origin

    Manufactured in the USA

    DreamCloud Signature Technologies

    Cashmere Blend Pillow Top

Plush euro-style pillow top in a cashmere-cotton blend for a noticeably luxury hand-feel.

    Gel-Infused Memory Foam

Cooling gel memory foam comfort layer with high-density transition foam for support.

    5-Zone Pocketed Coil System

Individually wrapped coils with reinforced lumbar zone — provides hybrid bounce with targeted lumbar support.

    Best for

    • Buyers who want luxury hybrid feel without paying luxury prices
    • Couples — pocketed coils provide good motion isolation for a hybrid
    • Hot sleepers — coil construction allows much better airflow than all-foam
    • Combination sleepers who change positions during the night

    Not ideal for

    • Memory foam loyalists who want deep contouring (choose Nectar instead)
    • Heavyweight sleepers needing maximum support (consider Big Fig or Saatva HD)
    • Buyers wanting white-glove delivery (DreamCloud ships compressed)

How Much Does a DreamCloud Mattress Cost?

DreamCloud queens run $1,000$2,000 across the lineup (mid-luxury hybrid tier). The table below estimates the rest of the size ladder from that queen range using the standard size pricing brands apply — the low column tracks the entry model, the high column the flagship. Treat these as planning estimates rather than quotes: promotions move real street prices by 20–30% for weeks at a time.

    DreamCloud FAQ

    Is DreamCloud better than Nectar?

Different categories. DreamCloud is hybrid (coils + foam) at $999–$1,999 Queen. Nectar is all-foam at $699–$1,499 Queen. If you want cooler sleep, more bounce, and a more traditional mattress feel — choose DreamCloud. If you want deep memory foam contouring at the lowest price — choose Nectar.

Is the DreamCloud Premier worth the upgrade?

Yes, in our testing — the Premier adds a thicker cashmere pillow top and an extra layer of memory foam over the Original, making it noticeably more pressure-relieving for side sleepers. The price gap is typically only $200–$400 for a substantial comfort upgrade.

How does DreamCloud compare to Saatva?

Both are luxury hybrids. Saatva ships fully assembled with white-glove delivery; DreamCloud ships compressed. Saatva is heavier-duty (dual coil-on-coil) and ~$200–$500 more expensive. DreamCloud's cashmere top edges out Saatva's pillow top on plushness. For most buyers, DreamCloud is the better value; for back pain or extreme luxury, Saatva wins.

    Does DreamCloud sleep hot?

No — coil construction provides excellent airflow, and the gel memory foam comfort layer prevents heat buildup. DreamCloud is among the cooler hybrid mattresses in our thermal lab, particularly the Premier Rest tier with its phase-change cover upgrade.
