WinkBeds Mattress Review
American-made luxury hybrids with a lifetime warranty and a genuine firm option.
About WinkBeds
WinkBeds launched in 2015 as a direct-to-consumer answer to the department-store luxury hybrid: pocketed coils, a euro pillow top, and a real firmness ladder, sold online at roughly half the showroom price.
The company builds in its own Wisconsin facility, which is unusual for a DTC brand and is the reason its coil counts and foam densities stay consistent from unit to unit. That control also underpins the lifetime warranty offered across the lineup.
The range now spans the flagship WinkBed (Softer, Luxury Firm, Firmer, and Plus for heavier sleepers), the cooling GravityLux and CoolControl beds, and the EcoCloud latex hybrid. In our panel the Luxury Firm is one of the best back-sleeper hybrids we test, and the Plus is the most durable heavy-body mattress in its price band.
What they make
Luxury pocketed-coil hybrids, latex hybrids, cooling beds, and a heavy-duty Plus model; adjustable bases and bedding.
Origin
American — built in Wisconsin
WinkBeds Signature Technologies
LumbarLayer Support Foam
A zoned foam insert under the lumbar third of the bed that reduces hip sink for back and stomach sleepers.
Triple-Tempered Coils
Heat-treated pocketed coils that resist set over time — the reason WinkBeds can offer a lifetime warranty.
Tencel Cover
A moisture-wicking Tencel cover that measurably outperforms polyester quilting on surface heat in our thermal tests.
Best for
- Back and stomach sleepers who need firm lumbar support
- Heavier sleepers — the WinkBed Plus is rated for 300+ lb per side
- Couples who want hotel-style bounce without a memory-foam hug
- Buyers who want a lifetime warranty and US manufacturing
Not ideal for
- Deep memory-foam contour seekers
- Shoppers on a sub-$1,000 budget
- Anyone who needs the mattress moved often — queens are heavy

How Much Does a WinkBeds Mattress Cost?
WinkBeds queens run $1,150–$2,250 across the lineup (mid-luxury tier). The table below estimates the rest of the size ladder from that queen range using the standard size pricing brands apply — the low column tracks the entry model, the high column the flagship. Treat these as planning estimates rather than quotes: promotions move real street prices by 20–30% for weeks at a time.

|---|---|---|---|
| Twin | 38" × 75" | $710 | $1,395 |

WinkBeds FAQ
Which WinkBed firmness should I choose?
Luxury Firm suits most back and combination sleepers and is the model we recommend by default. Softer is the side-sleeper pick. Firmer works for stomach sleepers and anyone under 130 lb who still wants a flat surface. The Plus is for sleepers over roughly 230 lb, with a latex comfort layer and a heavier coil gauge.
Is the WinkBeds lifetime warranty real?
It is a genuine lifetime limited warranty covering body impressions over 1.5 inches and manufacturing defects, with the first 10 years fully covered and a prorated repair/replace program after that. It requires a supportive foundation and proof of purchase.
How does WinkBeds compare to Saatva?
Both are luxury coil beds. Saatva ships fully assembled with white-glove delivery and a 365-night trial; WinkBeds compresses into a box with a 120-night trial but a lifetime warranty and a stronger heavy-body option (the Plus). For pure lumbar support they score within a few tenths of each other in our panel.
