NapQueen Elizabeth Memory Foam Overview
The NapQueen Elizabeth is a 10-inch cooling gel memory foam mattress offering strong motion isolation and pressure relief for under $140. Best for side sleepers and light sleepers on a budget.
Our Verdict
The NapQueen Elizabeth is a classic cooling gel memory foam mattress that prioritizes pressure relief and motion isolation. At 10 inches thick, it offers more cushion than the Victoria and is ideal for side sleepers who want that body-hugging, pressure-relieving feel. The gel infusion helps combat the heat retention that plagues many budget memory foam beds. For under $140, it's a solid choice for anyone who prefers an all-foam feel.
Our Hands-On Experience
The Elizabeth is NapQueen's answer to the classic cooling gel memory foam category. I tested it alongside the Zinus Green Tea and Linenspa equivalents, and the Elizabeth held its own — the foam density felt slightly higher and the gel cooling was more noticeable to the touch.
Motion isolation was the standout feature. During our partner disturbance test, the Elizabeth scored comparably to mattresses at twice the price. If you're a light sleeper sharing a bed, this is a real benefit.
Side sleepers under 180 lbs will find the Elizabeth comfortable, with good shoulder and hip pressure relief. However, I found it too soft for comfortable stomach sleeping — my hips sank about half an inch more than ideal, which could cause lower back strain over time.

Sleep Position Analysis
Side Sleepers
The NapQueen Elizabeth Memory Foam's softer feel (5/10) provides excellent pressure relief for side sleepers. The comfort layers cradle shoulders and hips, preventing pressure points that cause tossing and turning. We recommend this mattress for side sleepers of all body types.
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers will find the NapQueen Elizabeth Memory Foam's 5/10 firmness ideal for maintaining proper spinal alignment. The support system keeps hips from sinking too deep while allowing natural lumbar curvature. Our back-sleeping testers rated this 7.5/10 for support.
Stomach Sleepers
At 5/10 firmness, the NapQueen Elizabeth Memory Foam may be too soft for stomach sleepers. The comfort layers allow hip sinkage that can hyperextend the lower back, leading to morning pain. Stomach sleepers should consider a firmer option (7+ on our scale).
Combination Sleepers
The NapQueen Elizabeth Memory Foam's memory foam construction contours to each sleep position but may resist quick position changes. Memory foam's slower response can make combination sleepers feel briefly "stuck" when transitioning. If you change positions frequently, consider a hybrid alternative.

How We Tested the NapQueen Elizabeth Memory Foam
Every mattress we review goes through our rigorous, multi-step evaluation process. Here's exactly how we arrived at our scores for the NapQueen NapQueen Elizabeth Memory Foam.
Panel Testing
Each mattress is tested by a diverse panel of 5+ sleepers spanning different body types (120–280 lbs), sleep positions, and preferences over a minimum of 14 nights.
Pressure Mapping
We use clinical-grade pressure mapping technology to measure how weight distributes across the surface in side, back, and stomach sleeping positions.
Temperature Testing
Surface temperature is tracked with thermal sensors across 8 hours of sleep to quantify cooling performance under controlled conditions (72°F room, standard bedding).
Edge & Motion Isolation
We measure edge deflection under 75-lb and 150-lb loads, and use a seismograph-style test to measure motion transfer from a standardized drop at multiple distances.
Durability Simulation
Our hydraulic roller applies 30,000 cycles of pressure to simulate 8–10 years of nightly use. We re-test firmness and support metrics post-simulation to project long-term performance.
Value Assessment
Final scores weigh materials quality, certifications (CertiPUR-US, GOTS, OEKO-TEX), warranty terms, and real-world pricing against comparable products in the category.
