NapQueen Victoria Hybrid Overview
The NapQueen Victoria Hybrid is a budget-friendly pocket coil hybrid mattress with over 4,000 reviews. At $119, it's one of the cheapest hybrid mattresses available, best suited for guest rooms, kids' beds, and budget-conscious shoppers under 160 lbs.
Our Verdict
The NapQueen Victoria Hybrid is a remarkably affordable pocket-coil hybrid that has earned over 4,000 reviews on the brand's site. At just $119 for a queen, it's one of the cheapest hybrid mattresses on the market. The combination of cooling gel memory foam over individually wrapped coils delivers decent support and pressure relief for the price. It's an 8-inch mattress, so it's thinner than most — but for guest rooms, kids' beds, or budget-conscious shoppers, the Victoria punches well above its price point.
Our Hands-On Experience
I'll be honest — I didn't expect much from a $119 hybrid mattress. But the NapQueen Victoria surprised me. After setting it up in our guest bedroom for a 30-night test, multiple overnight visitors commented on how comfortable it was without knowing the price. When I told them, every single person was shocked.
The cooling gel layer works reasonably well for the price point. Using our infrared surface thermometer, the Victoria registered about 2°F cooler than a comparable Zinus foam mattress. Not as cool as a $1,000 hybrid, but notably better than most budget foams.
The main limitation is the 8-inch profile. At my weight (195 lbs), I could feel myself getting close to the coils when sleeping on my side. Lighter sleepers under 160 lbs will have no issues, but heavier sleepers should consider the thicker Isabella or Machka models.
It's worth noting that NapQueen issued recalls on earlier Victoria models. The current version appears to have addressed those issues, but I'd recommend checking NapQueen's website for the latest recall information before purchasing.

Sleep Position Analysis
Side Sleepers
At 5.5/10 firmness, the NapQueen Victoria Hybrid works well for average-weight side sleepers (130-230 lbs). Lighter side sleepers may want to consider a softer option for better shoulder cushioning, while heavier side sleepers will appreciate the balanced support.
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers will find the NapQueen Victoria Hybrid's 5.5/10 firmness ideal for maintaining proper spinal alignment. The support system keeps hips from sinking too deep while allowing natural lumbar curvature. Our back-sleeping testers rated this 8/10 for support.
Stomach Sleepers
At 5.5/10 firmness, the NapQueen Victoria Hybrid may be too soft for stomach sleepers. The comfort layers allow hip sinkage that can hyperextend the lower back, leading to morning pain. Stomach sleepers should consider a firmer option (7+ on our scale).
Combination Sleepers
The NapQueen Victoria Hybrid's hybrid construction provides responsive support that adapts as you change positions throughout the night. The coil system provides bounce that makes repositioning effortless. Combination sleepers rated this highly in our testing.

Can't beat this for the price
I'm a broke college student and this mattress is genuinely comfortable. Way better than the dorm mattress. Sleeps cool and arrived in 2 days.
Perfect for our guest bedroom
Bought two of these for our guest rooms. Every visitor comments on how comfortable they are. At this price, it's a no-brainer.
Surprisingly good for the money
I was skeptical about a $119 mattress but this is legitimately comfortable. Not as plush as my $1,000 Casper but honestly 80% as good for 1/8 the price.

How We Tested the NapQueen Victoria Hybrid
Every mattress we review goes through our rigorous, multi-step evaluation process. Here's exactly how we arrived at our scores for the NapQueen NapQueen Victoria Hybrid.
Panel Testing
Each mattress is tested by a diverse panel of 5+ sleepers spanning different body types (120–280 lbs), sleep positions, and preferences over a minimum of 14 nights.
Pressure Mapping
We use clinical-grade pressure mapping technology to measure how weight distributes across the surface in side, back, and stomach sleeping positions.
Temperature Testing
Surface temperature is tracked with thermal sensors across 8 hours of sleep to quantify cooling performance under controlled conditions (72°F room, standard bedding).
Edge & Motion Isolation
We measure edge deflection under 75-lb and 150-lb loads, and use a seismograph-style test to measure motion transfer from a standardized drop at multiple distances.
Durability Simulation
Our hydraulic roller applies 30,000 cycles of pressure to simulate 8–10 years of nightly use. We re-test firmness and support metrics post-simulation to project long-term performance.
Value Assessment
Final scores weigh materials quality, certifications (CertiPUR-US, GOTS, OEKO-TEX), warranty terms, and real-world pricing against comparable products in the category.
