Our Hands-On Experience
The shoulder cutout is the whole idea, and it works. On a conventional pillow a side sleeper's shoulder gets pushed up toward the ear; the recess here lets it settle forward so the neck stays level with the spine. Testers with chronic shoulder pain noticed it on the first night.
Adjustable latex-polyester fill lets you tune the loft to your shoulder width, which is essential — the cutout only helps if the remaining height matches the gap between your ear and the mattress.
