The Contour CPAPMax 2.0 is the gold standard for CPAP users. Its unique shape features deep side cutouts for mask and hose clearance, a center hose tether, and adjustable height inserts. It works with all CPAP mask types — nasal, full-face, and nasal pillow — making it the most versatile CPAP pillow on the market.
Our Hands-On Experience
The two features CPAP users actually need are mask clearance and hose management, and this is the pillow that does both properly. The side cutouts are deep enough that a full-face mask sits in open air rather than against fabric, and the center tether stops the hose from dragging the mask off-seal when you roll over.
Adjustable foam inserts matter more than they sound. Mask fit changes with head height; being able to add or remove an insert let two of our testers stop the small overnight leaks that were waking them without them realizing why.
The shape takes a week to adapt to and it is firmer than a conventional pillow. At $69 it remains the pillow we recommend first to anyone whose CPAP therapy is being undermined by mask displacement rather than by pressure settings.
