Great assist bed for elderly mother
I ordered an Ascend bed for my 86-year-old mother, who has limited mobility and struggles getting in and out of bed. Being able to position the base directly on the floor makes it much easier for her to get into bed, especially with the added support rail. The lift feature, combined with the rail, also makes getting out of bed significantly easier and safer.
The tilt feature is a game-changer
I'm a stomach sleeper with acid reflux — a terrible combination. Traditional head elevation makes stomach sleeping impossible, but the Ascend's full-bed tilt gives me just enough angle to help with reflux while I stay on my stomach. Nothing else on the market does this at this price.
Perfect for home care setup
Set this up for my father recovering from hip surgery. The hi-low feature means he can lower the bed to sit on the edge safely, then raise it to a comfortable height for caregivers. Much better than a hospital bed and looks like real furniture. The support rail is a must-have add-on.
