Adjustable base recommendations under $500?

My doctor recommended elevating my head for acid reflux and I'm looking at adjustable bases. Don't need massage or USB ports - just reliable head and foot elevation with a decent remote. Split king would be ideal since my wife doesn't want to be elevated. What are your experiences with budget-friendly bases?

Check out the Lucid L300 on Amazon. I got it for around $350 and it's been reliable for a year. No fancy features but the head and foot articulation is smooth and the wireless remote works well. For acid reflux, even 6-8 inches of head elevation makes a huge difference. It changed my life honestly.
