Stomach sleeper struggles - every mattress feels wrong
Anonymous
I've been a stomach sleeper my whole life and I know it's "bad" but I literally cannot fall asleep any other way. The problem is most mattresses either let my hips sink too much (soft) or put too much pressure on my chest (firm). I need that sweet spot around 7-7.5 firmness. Currently looking at the Saatva HD and the WinkBeds Plus. Anyone else a committed stomach sleeper who's found their perfect match?

Fellow committed stomach sleeper here. I tried the WinkBeds Plus and it's honestly perfect for us. The firmer support keeps your hips aligned without being rock hard. Pair it with a very thin pillow (I use a thin down pillow) and it's the best stomach sleeping setup I've found.

Community answers are the lived experience half of the picture. The other half is measured data. Everything below comes from our own lab work in Encinitas, where we record pressure-mapping results, surface-temperature change over an eight-hour night, motion transfer, and edge-support deflection on every mattress we buy. Use the discussion above for real-world ownership detail — how a bed felt after a year, how a brand handled a warranty claim, whether a sale price was actually a discount — and use the guides below to check those impressions against repeatable measurements before you spend money.
