Best mattress for heavy people? 300+ lbs
Anonymous
Looking for recommendations for a mattress that can support someone over 300 lbs without sagging.
I have tried several mattresses over the years and they all seem to develop body impressions within 6 months. Currently looking at:
- Big Fig Mattress
- Titan Plus
- Saatva HD
Budget is not a major concern - I just want something durable that provides good support. Any experiences from fellow heavy sleepers?

Big Fig owner here at 340 lbs. This mattress is a tank - zero sagging after 2 years. The edge support is incredible too. Worth every penny for us bigger folks.
I am 310 lbs and went with the Titan Plus. Good support and great value compared to Big Fig. Only complaint is the motion isolation is not great if you have a partner.

Community answers are the lived experience half of the picture. The other half is measured data. Everything below comes from our own lab work in Encinitas, where we record pressure-mapping results, surface-temperature change over an eight-hour night, motion transfer, and edge-support deflection on every mattress we buy. Use the discussion above for real-world ownership detail — how a bed felt after a year, how a brand handled a warranty claim, whether a sale price was actually a discount — and use the guides below to check those impressions against repeatable measurements before you spend money.
